New Event Categories Are Live!

Over the last few weeks, we have been testing support for additional event types across our mobile apps and website. After some initial tweaks, this is now available for all users - yay! 🎉🥳

It took some experimentation to find a way to ensure that we kept the initial feed focused on music-based events first, while still adding all the other available options.

Our solution has been to make the default view to already contain concerts, clubs, dj and festivals, echoing the traditional button group that has been present in Broadcast since day one.

It means that music based events is always presented to you first, and then you can explore and find more events as you see fit.

Finally, the search functionality has also been updated. Now, when yoe are searching for events, it is possible to access all event types, and filter quickly by a kind - for example, Comedy or Dance. you should give it a try!
